Avidyne Corporation is at the forefront of the aviation industry, integrating advanced avionics into both conventional and novel advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft. We are not just about creating products; we are about revolutionizing the way people fly.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Avidyne, you'll play a pivotal role leading the design, development, and enhancement of electrical circuits, components, and systems for our cutting-edge avionics equipment. Your responsibilities will span from planning board-level architecture, designing and testing interfaces, reviewing and approving design changes, to owning small sections of our product design projects.
This isn't merely an engineering position; it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of avionics technology, contributing directly to the innovation of our products.
Core responsibilities of our Senior Electrical Engineers include:
Crafting Solutions: Lead and contribute to the design, documentation, and testing of digital processor circuit boards, interfacing with a variety of sensors critical to flight systems.
Ensuring Excellence: Lead small sections of design projects, participating in reviews and implementing design changes to ensure project success.
Optimizing Processes: Design, fabricate, and test CPU, GPU, Data-bus, memory, and FPGA interfaces, contributing to continuous product improvement and innovation.
Collaborating Effectively: Forge collaborative partnerships with both internal teams as well as customers contributing your subject matter expertise throughout our products' lifecycle.
Communicating with Precision: Provide concise and objective written and oral communications to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and timely project progress.
Nurturing Talent: Mentor junior engineering professionals, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth within our organization.
To thrive in this role, we seek individuals who not only bring technical expertise but also demonstrate an aptitude to learn and adapt in our fast-paced industry. A genuine enthusiasm for aviation coupled with a thirst for knowledge drives innovation within our teams. Possessing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience with schematic/layout design and testing PCBs for product integration is essential (or a master's degree with 3 years of similar experience). Additionally, you must exhibit an applied proficiency in modern PCB production technologies and electronics capture software.
At Avidyne, we offer more than just a job—we offer a chance to turn dreams of flying into reality. As a member of our team, you'll have access to flight training and the opportunity to earn your pilot's license, opening a world of possibilities both inside and outside the cockpit. Imagine the rush of taking control of an aircraft and experiencing the freedom of flight firsthand—all while gaining a unique perspective on the products you helped design. It’s an opportunity few roles can match.
